Homogeneous Pellets

Research has shown that the maximum influence of nitrogen occurs when the nitrogen and phosphate are intimately associated together through a process known as positive nutrient interaction. UMAXX
UMAXX is a uniquely formulated combination of N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide, (NBPT), a urease inhibitor, dicyandiamide; a nitrification inhibitor, and urea. NBPT stops volatilization for up to 2 weeks thus minimising nitrogen loss and reducing the potential for turf burn. Dicyandiamide blocks the microbial conversion of ammonium nitrogen to nitrate nitrogen. This keeps the nitrogen in the stable ammonium form and in the soil for more efficient plant utilization. It also greatly reduces the leaching of nitrates that can contaminate ground water.
UMAXX is available in a standard size particle and a mini particle. It is used as a nitrogen component in blended fertilisers and as a soluble nitrogen source for use in liquid applications. UMAXX is ideal for use on golf courses or where ever quality turf is desired.

Polyon
Polyon controlled release fertilisers utilize Agrium Advanced Technologies advanced polyurethane coating technology, which is specifically designed to meet the nutritional requirements of turf grass and horticultural growers. Polyon coated nutrients feature an extremely durable ultra-thin polyurethane coating that provides nutrition at precisely the right time when plants need Major, Minor and Secondary Elements, without the risks of premature or excessive release common to other fertilisers. The ultra-thin Polyon coating is chemically bonded to nutrient granules, creating an extremely durable and reliable granule for 100% controlled release. As a result, turfgrass and horticultural growers get higher quality plants with out the worrying about premature or excessive nutrient loss due to coating failures.

Methylene-Urea Polymers
Turf professionals know that the most important factor in growing thick turf is a continuous supply of nitrogen throughout the growing season; but it has to be the right amount. Insufficient nitrogen can reduce plant colour and vigor, which may lead to other problems, including disease, weeds and poor plant performance. Excessive nitrogen can over-stimulate growth, and might lead to stresses on turf with extra mowing and heavy clippings. NUTRALENE slow-release nitrogen provides just the right amount of “spoon-feeding” for turf.
