Simplot Proline is expanding its sales force in Australia with the appointment of two new positions.Colin Thorsborne has accepted a position in our Gold Cost office and brings to Simplot over 20 years of industry experience including work at the Montgomerie in Dubai, Denarau Golf club Fiji, Hope Island and the Glades golf courses.

As a chemical user, drumMUSTER provides you with a defined route to safely dispose of your used chemical containers. All you are required to do is clean your containers so they are free of any chemical residue then deliver them to one of over 700 receival sites across Australia.
drumMUSTER is the single biggest environmental program ever undertaken jointly by farmers/end chemical users, Local Government and the Crop Production and Animal Health Industries.

Simplot Pro-Line, in an ongoing commitment to our customers, introduce two new products for improving the root system and the drought response in turf.
Mycorrcin Turf:
Increase root activity by activating mycorrhizal colonisation. Mycorrhizal fungi play an important role in root architecture, regulating plant growth, and disease suppression. Mycorrcin Turf contains a concentrated blend of fermentation extracts, signal molecules, amino acids and micro nutrients that activates indigenous mycorrhizal fungi.
Root Reviver:
Root Reviver inoculated turf is more vigorous and suffers less nutrient deficiencies and environmental stress.

Simplot ProLine is proud to be supporting the 2007 23rd Australian Turfgrass Conference in Cairns. Simplot ProLine prides itself on being specialists in BEST granular fertilizer and liquid nutritional products and is now a proactive agent for Syngenta. This year we have been working on providing solutions for the drought affected turf market and will be demonstrating these new products on our stand in Cairns.
Simplot ProLine will be running the same competition as we did last year, giving away a study tour GCSAA, Golf Show in Orlando USA February 2008.
This is an experience of a lifetime and a great opportunity to network on a world wide scale. The tour includes three days at the famous FARMLINKS the home of POLYON in Alabama. Talk to one of our territory managers to find out how to enter.

Australian Open CQO

Each year superintendents, ground staff and turf managers of Australia gather at the Australian Open venue to assist in the course maintenance through the Course Quality Officials (CQO) program. The 2006 Australian Open will be held from 16th to 19th November at Royal Sydney Golf Club. The Course Quality Officials work inside "the ropes" and are responsible for bunker raking and divot repairs. The CQO program runs the entire length of the tournament and provides a fantastic learning environment for all levels of practitioners in the turf industry.Simplot Pro-Line is a proud sponsor of the CQO program and recognises that the preparation required to bring a course up to championship quality takes expertise and enthusiasm, similar to the staff and support team found at Simplot Pro-Line.
